Bit by Bit is made possible by volunteers who generously donate their time to our equine therapeutic riding program: an equine-assisted activity for the purpose of contributing to the cognitive, physical, emotional and social wellbeing of individuals with special needs. Volunteers are the lifeblood of our program, and we need your help in many ways.

Classes and Students: participate in lessons by helping support physically, leading activities and handing objects, or keeping students focused on the tasks given.
Horses and the Facility: helping staff care for the horses and handling them during classes, physical tasks such as painting, lawn care, cleaning, etc.
Events and Special Tasks:
for those who enjoy fundraisers and community outreach, or have personal skills you think may help our mission.

The minimum age for a volunteer is 15 years old and prior experience with horses is not necessary as all you need to know will be covered in a yearly training. Advanced training may be necessary if you wish to help with specific tasks. If you are interested in volunteering with us, please download and fill out the following form. Once complete, it can be returned through mail, fax, in person or email to administration@bitbybitok.org.
